Richie and Leon played with the Belgian Quo Band again on 9th August, at the free Bruudruusterrock Festival near Ghent in Belgium.

Francis was interviewed by (22-year-old!) Fin Brown on Suffolk Sound Radio on 16th August.
The interview kicked off by discussing the 40th anniversary of "Live Aid" and Quo's significant part in it. The changed landscape of the music business came next, with Francis's advice to youngsters thinking of a career in showbusiness being "leave it" and that "it's still a struggle". Fin asked Francis about his longevity and how it feels to have so touched so many lives, with Francis confessing that much of his public face has been a "facade" and "a defence".
Asked if he'd be happy with the Taunton 2024 gig being the end of live Quo, Francis said he would be. He reiterated that he didn't see the band playing live again. Fin asked if there was an artist Francis would have loved to collaborate with and he, somewhat unsurprisingly, suggested Jeff Lynne. The joys (and otherwise) of growing older were discussed next before wrapping up by talking about the next round of his solo tour. He mentioned that he loves the intimacy of the smaller shows.
